Hip Hop is a culture admired by millions of people around the world. It began in the 1970's in New York City. Back then it started with rappers like Dj Kool Herc and Afrika Bambaataa as being the two hip hop legends that started rap. Years later it blew up to being one of the most listened to genre's. Rap isn't only music but it's therepy for those who write it and listen to it. If you listen to the words you can feel the emotion that the artist is feeling. Most rappers are from the streets or as they call it the hood. Bodacious is no different coming from Brooklyn New York. She got into music at a very young age singing when she was only 18 months of age. She lived a hard life with lots of drama and fights. Coming from Brooklyn wasn't easy as a kid. Neither was moving from place to place. She ended up in Statan Island New York and lived there for 11 years. Living in Staten Island was hard for her.School was always tuff esspecally High School. Bodacious found herself cutting class and getting into fights every day.She almost got kicked out of school until her family finally moved to New Jersey where she got left back. Her grandma was her best friend and she would spend every week with her. She convinced her not to drop out and told her that when she graduated she would come live with her. But things don't always go as planned. On March 5th 2005,A year before Bodacious would graduated. Her grandma passed away from breast cancer. Right before her eyes she lost everything. But it was this day where she found her talent and her nitch when she wrote the song My Other Half dedicated to her grandma. It was this time she knew she was going to make something of herself. A year later Bodacious graduated from High School but after High School it wasn't any easier. She found herself struggling to keep jobs and to pay her bills. Bodacious knew she had to get into the rap game,coming out with her debut album The Intro and starting her own radio station.She is looking to do big things. Bodacious is looking to become big and to show everyone dreams do come true.
