About Me
About Me:
Born October 3, 1988
Lyneil A. Washington Jr. aka Lil’ Chop grew up with a brother and sister in the poverty-stricken and crime-ridden areas known as lincoln holmes & Green acres neighborhoods/slums of Goldsboro . At the age of three, his father Stepd Out Of His Life. Chops first contact with hip-hop was listening to his father & Grandfather as a youngsta Lyneil the1st & Lynwood, whom he would credit as his earliest influences. He began rapping at block parties as a child, and his performance at one of them caught the ear of Dreads, a Big Brother Productions Musician also from the neighborhood "Tanglewood" , who soon after the party gave him his phone number . He went on an Rehearse-session with Dreads, and there met Big Brother Productions owners, Donald and Lee. His freestyling abilities impressed the Big Brothers, but they didn’t sign him at first. Fifthteen-year-old Chop started to record freestyles on Analog Cds & Tapes and haunted Big Brothers offices nearly every day. When Lee saw so much engagement in the young rapper, he soon offered little chop a record contract but his mother rejected tha contract because of his age. Chop dropped out of school at the age of 16 to pursue his rap career along with his close friend and family member Glenn aka Y-Roc. The group released their first and only album titled "For Tha Streets". In 2005, Chop Enrolled Back Into High School & formed the AintAGame Gang along with D-gully, Rell, Tha Kid and Roc., and they released their seminal debut mixtapes. The record’s success earned the young teenagers a name throughout the City. He further distinguished himself on Aint A Game Entertainment By Coming out with multiple mixtapes and albums... In 2006, Chop launched his solo career with Birdman Tha Third, Suicide pt.1.Suicide Pt.2 Lil Chop followed up his successful debut In the Fall of 2007, Lil’Chop Released I am Hip Hop. It was also Neil Washington that finally earned him mass notability outside the City as a talented lyricist, because at that time - and still today, Goldsboro rappers were stereotyped as having little to no lyrical ability. In 2007 Chop attained all his credits and Graduated With a high School diploma and currently attending College . Lil' Chop Says" I thank god for being talented to express myself in my music it gives me something to do other than be in these streets Also its What I love Doing I Mean Whats Better Than doing Something You Love? Making Good Money Doing It, There's An Artist ten times better than picaso Right now who gave up and is now Working A regular 9 to 5 not happy with wat he's doing i Could of been that artist instead i kelp kicking even though i go through sh*t i Never faded And im still Unsigned But Im Enjoying My life no matter what i go through I make tha best out it things turning out just how i expect them to i determine my own destiny and I Plan Big For The Near Future". Influences:
Your life is not what the stars, numbers, genetics, enviroment, Politics, or economic conditions make it; its whats you make it. External variables influence but internal variables determine.
I know nothing outside me determines my destiny. The force that determines my destiny is me. most people take what it is given to them
