FAQ

Q:  What time does Hit the Stage begin in each location?

A:  Doors are at 6:00 p.m. for artists and models.  After-party for over-21's begins at 10 p.m.

Q:  When and where will Hit the Stage be going?

A:  Hit the Stage: Down South will be in the following locations:
•    May 2nd: Greenvile, SC (Club H20)
•    May 3rd:  Greensboro, NC (Club Menage)
•    May 4th:  Columbia, SC (Club Elements)
•    May 5th:  Atlanta, GA  (Grand Finale @ Lotus Lounge)

Q:  Do all artists and models that attend get selected?

A:  No.  Only those artists called out of the crowd will get to perform.  Of those that perform, only one person overall will be selected to fly to LA and record with the NeXmen.  One lucky model will also be flown to LA to do The Powershoot: LA.

Q:  What do I need to bring to the event if I'm selected to Hit the Stage?

A:  As you don't know if you'll be performing that night, you'll need to be ready the whole time.  You must be "stage ready" in appearance and have one song burned to a standard CD to give to the DJ.  Lossless files are preferred.

Q:  Is there a dress code?

A:  Yes.  You must appear "stage ready".  For artists, this is about your personal style.  For models, be ready to impress Leo Marshall's casting crew.  For fans and your crew – dress them up.  This event is meant to show the folks from NY and LA coming to your town that this is how we do Down South.

Q:  Does the winner of Hit the Stage:  Down South really get a recording contract?

Q:  Yes.  The winner will record one song through NeXmen/UrbMob Records in LA.  We will release a digital single shortly after.  The digital release will put the song on iTunes, on Sprint/Verizon/ATT and we'll promote it on Urbmob.com and on magazines and other media.  After the digital release, we will consider releasing the song as a full single.
