If you are reading this event description, chances are you've been contacted by one of our trusted talent scouts. We are looking for the best acts in Greenville, SC, Greensboro, NC, Columbia, SC and Atlanta to compete in the first, "UrbMob Presents: Hit the Stage Down South".
 
UrbMob is the largest urban mobile content distribution company in America, responsible for the viral success of Vida Guerra, Buffie the Body, CoCo, Melyssa Ford, and Esther Baxter  (just to name a few).

In addition to the launch of urbmob.com, we are pleased to announce the formation of UrbMob Records.  We are looking to sign new artists.  Hit the Stage is an event that will allow us to find and sign new artists.   In order to be considered for Hit the Stage, you need to upload a profile on Urbmob.com.

Urbmob.com is different from all the other social networking sites ( Myspace, Facebook, Blackplanet, etc).  You only can get paid on UrbMob.com! 

UrbMob shares 50 % of the net mobile download subscription revenue generated on the site with artists.
 
If you join UrbMob today, in addition to allowing you to create a free profile and turn your original song into ringtones for your friends and family to download to their mobile devices, you are also automatically entered in “Hit the Stage”.   </p>

<p>The winner of each local Hit the Stage event will be invited to travel to Atlanta to compete in the "Hit the Stage" finals. The winner of the competition receives an all expense paid trip to LA to have his or her hit song upgraded "UrbMob style"! That means you'll hit the the studio with "The Nexmen" production company (Ne-Yo, Fantasia, J.Blue etc.) to have your hit single rerecorded and remixed to professional standards. You'll also win a premium photo shoot with industry photographer Leo Marshall (Snoop, Buffy, Vida, etc). 

And you’ll get to attend, VIP style, the hottest party in LA.  All that and bragging rights back home that YOU are the the Next Big thing  in entertainment.
